Adele releases new single titled HELLO ahead of album 25

The British singer released new single Hello tonight, instantly available to download and stream.
Unexpectedly, Hello is a dramatic piano ballad. However lyrically it sees Adele apologising for
a relationship ending.
The lyrics see Adele in California trying to call an ex on the other side of the world, with the chorus running “Hello from the outside, at least I can say that I’ve tried to tell you I’m sorry for breaking your heart, but it don’t matter, it clearly doesn’t tear you apart anymore.”
More aligned musically to Someone Like You or Hometown Glory than Rolling in the Deep or Set Fire to the Rain, the stark ballad features layered backing vocals on the second chorus while a drumbeat doesn’t kick in until the last minute of the song. But being Adele, Top 40 radio shouldn’t have a problem playing it.
As you would expect, however, Adele’s soaring vocals sound immense.
Hello is her first single since her Bond theme Skyfall in 2012.
The video was directed by Xavier Dolan, a Canadian actor and filmmaker, and was shot in Montreal.
The stunning, sepia video features an emotional Adele, some heavy duty eyelashes, old school telephones and a very wet ex.
Remarkably, Adele has managed to keep all the details of her third album, 25, a secret.
She announced today that the album will be released worldwide on November 20.
The British singer sold 30 million copies of her last album, 2011’s 21, worldwide.
In Australia 21 has sold over 1.1 million copies, making it the highest-selling album this decade.
The last record to crack the increasingly-distant seven figure mark was Delta Goodrem’s Innocent Eyes in 2003.
So far no one knows who Adele was worked with on the writing and the production of 25.
Music heavy hitters Ryan Tedder, Max Martin, Pharrell Williams and even Phil Collins have been linked to the project.
Speculation of a possible November 20 release reportedly saw One Direction and Justin Bieber both release their new albums on November 13.
Kylie Minogue’s Christmas album is also out November 13, while Adele’s only serious competition on November 20 is a new Enya album called Dark Sky Island.
25 could also block Troye Sivan’s Blue Neighbourhood, released on December 4, from reaching the No. 1 spot.
25’s tracklisting.

2. Send My Love (to Your New Lover)

5. Remedy
6. Water Under the Bridge
